1. Sales Account Manager (Consumer Brands) – Bristol

Job Type: Full Time, Competitive Salary

This is an exciting new role in which you will be expected to take ownership of the entire 360 sales process across our consumer brands in the gardening sector including managing international trade customers and prestigious bespoke projects.

You will work as part of the Sales team supporting the delivery of excellent customer service and ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and deliveries made on time.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all consumer orders and communication on behalf of the company, ensuring timely presentation of new products and services to your customers
  • Liaising on behalf of key account clients with other internal and external teams to ensure service levels reflect client expectation
  • Taking ownership of any customer complaints or issues by developing solutions, clarifying agreements and reporting progress and recommendations to managers
  • Prospecting for potential new customers developing robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Researching and building relationships with new customers
  • Attending industry functions, events and conferences, and providing feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Presenting to and consulting with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company‚Äôs unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Preparing regular progress reports to feedback activity, results and analysis to Managers
  • Ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed within the internal CRM or system
  • Working to sales targets
  • Working with marketing staff to ensure that the sales and marketing team activities are well coordinated and mutually supportive
  • Ensuring all sales engagements present the company in a positive light
  • Providing customer support to assist a positive sales process and customer experience
  • Attending trade shows and events such as The RHS Chelsea Flower Show to promote the brands

Person Specification:

  • Successful track record in a similar role within a customer focussed sales environment
  • Proven ability to prospect and convert high value accounts
  • An understanding of there requirements in managing a prestigious consumer brand
  • Excellent organisational and planning ability
  • Confident understanding of margins and negotiation within set criteria
  • Good communication skills with a polished and consultative sales style
  • Strong ability to research and evaluate internal and external information, analyse data, report and make recommendations
  • A proactive, positive and team orientated mindset
  • A willingness to work away from home base on occasion

2. Sales Executive – Bristol

The Tildenet Group Ltd, a leading brand on the world market, is based in Bristol with five divisions in the group offering services to the Garden Retail, Horticulture, Sport, Industrial, and Fencing industries.

Job Description

The Sales Executive will work closely with Sales Managers with a view to developing sales and servicing customer requirements in our Industrial Division to a high standard, primarily by telephone. They will also be responsible for relationship building, account management and lead generation in order to maximize potential sales from new and existing pipelines.

Duties will include:

  • Following up leads generated by sales and marketing activities via telephone.
  • Identifying potential customers and following up to achieve new sales or, where appropriate, booking appointments for field sales managers
  • Initiating regular and systematic telephone follow up of customers and maintaining records using a CRM system.
  • Attending and participating in outside events, eg exhibitions on occasions.

Candidates will be expected to have proven, successful sales experience with the ability to sell over the telephone as well as face to face and a thorough understanding of margin criteria.

You will have a confident communication style and strong written and IT skills.

As part of a small, hands-on team you will be expected to take the initiative, prioritise your workload and plan in order to meet targets and deadlines.

There is good potential for growth in this role for an experienced Sales Executive with a positive outlook and a ‘Can-do’ attitude.
